BA Importance in IT

The Business Analyst plays a very crucial role in the IT projects. They draws the clear , complete and testable requirement for any features the business want to develop. They starts with the project charter and existing documentation and then are able to identify and maintain the stakeholder register , so that they can communicate with stakeholders whenever needed. They kind of gather the requirement from stakeholders using various elicitation techniques such as Workshop, Interview, Prototyping and many more. They also very important role in maintaining the change request and keeping the project aligned with the timelines. Suppose the changes come from the business, they keep the track of the change and write the changes in the documentation. After Business analyst check the change with product owner and conveys the requirement to the team. If the change is aligned with the current sprint goal then the change is adjusted into the current sprint or else it is moved to product backlog so that we can pick the change in the later stages of the project. Hence, Business Analyst plays very important role in maintaining the project.
