A Business Analyst plays a crucial role in change management by acting as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team. The BA helps organizations manage changes effectively by gathering change requests from stakeholders, understanding business needs, and documenting all required changes in detail. They perform impact analysis to evaluate how the requested changes will affect existing business processes, systems, and users. Business Analysts also conduct gap analysis to identify missing features, process improvements, or additional requirements needed for successful implementation. A detailed change request document is prepared by the BA, which includes business requirements, expected outcomes, and potential risks. The Business Analyst coordinates with stakeholders to obtain approvals, supports communication among teams, and ensures that the requested changes are implemented smoothly and aligned with business objectives.
