Life Cycle of Requirement

The most important phase in any IT project is requirement gathering. We will going to see how a requirement lifecycle flows. First , there is a project initiation stage, after this we are trying to get the overview of what the actual business problem is , here we understand the business problem. After this phase we identify the stakeholders ,so that we can communicate with them whenever there help is needed, after which Business analyst draws a requirement gathering plan in which BA prepares some pre-requisite before any meeting like Objective, Agenda, Stakeholders ,Question and Expected Outcome. Then BA will choose proper elicitation techniques. Conduct the requirement session in which BA asked prepared questions and clarify ambiguity, confirm understanding and summarize the discussion. Then BA captures the requirements and validate the requirement and the end of this He will take the Sign-off from the Business Sponsor. So , this way requirement has the lifecycle which it follows.
